You're probably going to want a 55 for a pair of Salvini as they can be quite aggressive. They'll get between 6-8" I think, females being smaller.

they get pretty big and 45-50g tank would be nice for them
and if they are breeding they are gonna destroy the peace in your tank as they are mean li'll buggers as it is (and are kind of like jewels in behavior)will take on big fish and sometimes might even win
