I think he's a beautiful fish, but I want a male for breeding purposes only. Not just for show. My female is an egg laying machine and lays eggs even when there's no male around. The last white eyed kamfa male couldn't fertilize her eggs so I sold him. looking for a new male now. I know she could be infertile but she lays eggs so much and probability wise I assumed it was probably the male that was sterile.

Of your looking to breed, get yourself an SRD or KML. Best chance of fertility. That guy is probably worth about $150-200 IMO

I agree with the above. What do you want your kamfa to look like? Choose a strain based on that.

I'd say 80 for the female. She would b worth more if she had no pearls, those a kind of rare tho or not seen as often.

I'm lucky to be able to see one everyday haha

Thanks for being so patient and helping with all my questions everyone.

Question now is, are all white eyed males infertile? Is there any chance that the male could be fertile. I'd love to try and breed him with her. Even if they didn't work out I could always rehouse him and get another male to try with her. But if it's a sure thing that he's sterile/infertile then I'll pass on him and look for another
