Good example of how different lighting can affect a silver arowana

Those are fins are from a black aro (3rd pic in particular)
But it has the big silver looking head and body shape.
But it has the orangish tint to the scale frames (like a black)

But any info on these crossed fish? Is it legit, or is it just a single odball black or silver?

i to would like to see some back up info on the farms doing the hybridizing...cause it looks alot like a silver under different lighting to give it a 'different look'...

the scales are more reddish pink, like the silver has, just angle and light make it look darker...if i look at my silver right now i see the same fish...the only real differance is that my silver has the 'tiger stripes' on the tail...if i took those stripes away and put it on a black background it is the same fish as pictured...

if anything oddball silver...just lacking the 'tiger stripes'

This hybrid aro is Ley Choon Farm. Consult Koji, and he should know. Note: this aro is already quite large in size, but it hasn't develop DE yet. Although there are occasional occurences of silver aros without DE, I believe that this aro is a hybrid rather than a pure silver.
