their about 2.5 inches right now. Picked up two more of these lil guys today. All of them are showing signs of green and blue already and have either 2-4 spots

I was informed that the blues are males. Then my green turned blue which was odd and then it confused me even more by going green again

Yes, definately a pleuropthalma. Also sometimes referred to as Clown Snakehead in the UK. I had 3 which I sold last year (which I have regretted since) bought at the size of 4" and sold at about 10". Very sociable, as far a snakeheads go, you can even keep small groups of 3/4 in a 500/600 litre tank fully grown. At around 8/9" you should start to see the metallic blue hue coming into the body and the rinbgs around the ocelli go bronze.
