Went to a LFS in Davis,CA today just to check it out
Had a largish show tank with a ton of fish and I saw this

Dude said it was a umbee and just wanna make sure
And then there was this
Tag said bifa
And. Has anyone seen a firemouth this big before

It was at least 7 inches maybe more

The firemouth is probably about 6-7 years old.

Believe it or not u raised a fire mouth pair for years and when I finally sold them I measured them.
The female was 6.5 and the male was just shy of 8 inches.. Barely.

I believe it but seeing a firemouth that size is kinda stunning to me lol. It was big and thick. Make me really consider setting a tank aside just to raise a bull firemouth into a beast.
