Bought one and a week later I bought two more. They're so sexy, I just couldn't help myself. :D
I'm terribly sorry about the sucky quality of these pix. Come ****mas I'll have a new cam but till then I hope these will do enough to at least give me some educated guesses as to the species. Having no previous experience with pikes the most I can make out is that I think they are of the saxatalis group.

Description:
largest is just shy of 3.5"
Single horizontal line runs from the edge of the caudal solid on through to the lips
9-10 vertical stripes above the horizontal line when stressed
caudal occeli ringed in a metallic white, humeral spot also ringed in metallic white
spangles in dorsal fin and along the top of the horizontal line
triangular shaped suborbital marking
lots of red in the fins
no spots, spangles, striations, etc. on the face

I suspect I may have 2 males and 1 female. I can make out the slighest milky whiteness on the dorsal and top edge of the caudal on the smallest who is picked on differently than the second assumed "male". None of them show any difference of color on the belly.
Help and input is much appreciated!

I believe they are Cool Pikes.. no idea. nice pics.

im in love again:nilly: have no idea.if no 1 can help you here,go on the crc forum,do you know the origin of this beuty?

I can't see any pics:nilly:

Thanks guys. They're pretty uber, nasty as expected and so worth what I paid for them.
Unfortunately, no collection location, no region.
No possible hint as to species from the shop owner. When I aksed the shop owner he just threw his hands up and said he had no idea. I figured as much.
I hope you don't mind my asking k98 but I'm not familiar with "crc forum". Could you point me in that direction?
Thanks again! I'm all ears...er...eyes.

The thick, dark stripe reminds me of C. lepidota. Not sure though, but you are right about it being a sax group pike.
