Hey hey,

I got some fish from a friend of mine but I dont know what type they are...

maybe u guys could help with the ID.

you also appear to have a few rift lake species in there too alongside what look like 2 quite big common plecos.

The fist is a Aequidens rivulatus. Gold saums have a larger forehead lump. other then seems right

What?? Really?? Please get your facts straight before making a post. Gold saums (and whilte saums) used to be identified as Aequidens Rivulatus and are now identified as Andinoacara Rivulatus or Aequinoctalis. The larger forehead lump (Nuchal Hump) has nothing to do with anything when is comes to species.

and Aequidens is now Andinoacara? Yeah I used to be much more on top of the genus changes....need to do some studying :D <but was still confident on the gold saum/green terror difference ;) >
