hi guys.im fairly new to fh keeping.bought this fh 5 days ago.just want to know if its a male and what type of breed this is. thanks!

ZZ type. Looks to be a female from the dorsal spot. But that isn't 100%. Just my guess.

the percentage of protein is alarming. Don't use as staple but twice a week. It's a female so many only buy females to breed or to just have them as a pair. In a batch I get stuck with so many leftover females sometimes I have to sell them for so cheap makes me cringe haha

Also I would say that's a very high quality female you have and I would definitely use her to breed

what kind of staple food should i get for the fish? i don't have any idea of the quality because i only bought it at a pet store.heheh. but guessing about your extended knowledge i guess it is of high quality.thanks. i think i'm gonna keep her for a while.
