I'm with you, they are some of my favorites too. I have a couple in my tank and they are a stunning fish, I don't have the OB's either, I think I have the ones below.

I have a Labeotropheus fuelleborni I noticed the body seems heavier on them . the fish looks fatter. It was a rescue. It had been in a ten gallon tank for over a month with a kenyi male and 2 mainganos. Poor thing had no tail at all, just a stump with bone sticking out, no anal fin , the back half of dorsal was gone and was missing most of the scales on her sides. She could not keep herself horizontal in the water or swim. I had to build her a low rock house that almost touched her back for her to rest in so she did not float away. It took six months of recovery she grew everything back but the tiniest section of tail (the top edge of tail) She is one of my favorite fish because of her conditions before. She has made a complete recovery. Here is her pic taken several months ago while still healing:

fuellborni to me...

cute little guy. i have one EXACTLY like him!!.. a light peachy color, with freckles and the overhanging top lip. it was sold to me as a lab. trewavasae. its body is long and sleek like a lab-not very chunky.

they could pass for twins almost. lol:D
