id help freshwater goby ???

Looks like the Dormitator maculatus gobies I have in my tanks. Fat sleeper or Jade goby. Real nice colors in that one. Supposedly, they'll grow to close to 30" in the wild (and in full marine). I've never seen a captive specimen over 17-18".

ok thanks......the closet i found was a 'sleeper goby ' john

also it is in freshwater......

These gobies can be found in full fresh to full marine conditions. The larger ones are found in full marine.

I had that fish for about 2 years... it was about 9 inches in length. I got it from a LFS as a "MArbled Goby". After a long time researching and seeing them at other stores marked correctly i now know they are the "Jade" or Sleeper" gobies. They are very unusual fish, mine would always, i mean ALWAYS swim vertically , and never horizontally as if the fish was walking. Mine at everything and anything, from feeders, to kril, to bloodworms, to worms, to pellets, to ANYTHING. Mine liked to sift the surface for food by sucking in as much water as it could and filtering out all the food with its gills. I loved this fish was named Goober cuz of how it swam, and i wish i still had it! Good find... I would get another but all the ones i see around now are in BW and i dont want to deal with that...

Does yours swim like a goof too?? mine always did, it like hopped around on its tail...
