Both of my Maingano's were prolific breeders.......they got to aggressive towards my other Malawis so i got rid of them.....right now i have a 7" male bumblebee and a 3" female......can't wait for her to get bigger..LOL

Both the Johanni's and the Maingano's will get very territorial so keep an eye on your other fish.....

Try to get some more females and the male should start breeding with one. Nice looking tank...:)
 
does everyone agree that the yellow ones in the 1st post are female johannis? i didn't know these mainganos could be that much more agressive than my other malawi fish....right now they're one of the smaller size in the tank...now im scared about their future...or their tank mates' future :D
