Hey gang, Ive seen this fish swimming around in the swamp tank at my work. Im just curious what it is called, because imo its pretty awesome looking.

I'm horrible with cichlids but I think its an Umbee

Im not sure if umbees get this big. This guy is like 14" easy

i'd say the same as deep blue sea, umbee. judging by the shape of the head and the dorsal fin.

i've heard of male umbees reaching 16"...

I think they have a pair of them then, cause I see it following another one around that it looks similar to, but is smaller in size by 3"

umbees can easily reach 14 inches

Looks like a tilapia to me.

EDITED: It do looks like umbee more than a tilapia.

Umbee They grow pretty big. Biggest one i heard of was 22''
