ID: Is this a Payara?

After two people whose opinion I value have disagreed with me I considered that my assumption maybe incorrect. So I searched further to see if I could identify the fish in question and I think I have, I believe it's Macrochirichthys macrochirus aka the Long Pectoral Fin Minnow.

I admit I don't know anything about wolf herrings but wikipedia has only to species listed as wolf herrings
Chirocentrus dorab
Chirocentrus nudus

Am I missing something? From what I read wolf herrings are marine Chirocentridae related to herrings while macrochirichthys macrochirus is a freshwater Cyprinidae. Or did I misread? Or is wolf herring a common name given to this freshwater Cyprinidae despite them not being Chirocentridae?
 
Yup just a hobby name since "long finned minnow" sucks lol

Even shed aquarium has them listed as wolf herring in their tanks

Yep,wolf herring.I had one a few years ago and I might have made a thread on it....Notice how it lacks the little caudal fin that payara and most characins have.
