Have she ever spawned with another fish that you know of? Most females will hit a growth spurt when they are young until their first spawn. At that point their bodies focus goes from growing to producing eggs. So, if you were able to raise her without her spawning it could have helped her get to that size a little easier than an actively spawning female would.

Yeah she has never spawned, she wouldn't even let him go near her, so I seperated for about 2 years, and then I had to shut down one of my tanks so I put the male back in with her, and she killed him in one night, as you cans ee in the photo.
