ID? maybe a hybrid?

They a def. flowerhorns. But the stripped one lookes like a flower x parrot. For some reason i think those guys look like black calvus but there obviously not.
Looks sort of like a Jack Dempsey mixed with a flowerhorn or something. The last picture looks just like a JD, but with a little bit different markings and the eyes. Either way looks like some awesome "Pleco's", nice steal you found!
great find. my best mix up ever was getting a 2inch red tail catfish for $1.79 cuz the old man who bagged it left off the last 9 (17.99) and this was at a LFS that is on the marketplace here.

They are clearly flowerhorns , not sure what strain yet ( I am still learning about flowerhorns , but I am very interested in them and hope to get one this year after I do a bit of research and decide which kind I like the best )
