Found this guy crossing my road today!!! Not sure if it's a native or if someone released him. I love in northern Indiana and I've never seen a box turtle in all of my 20 years lol

Looks a bit like the Eastern box I found a couple of weekends ago. But I have no idea if those guys extend to Indiana, and I wouldn't be able to tell the diff btwn that and an ornate probably.

Yeah hes got a few battle scars but hes suprisingly really friendly. I let him soak in some water earlier to clean off and hes got some really good colors!
