I think this is a peacock, I got it out of the assorted africans. It looks real close to them, but the eyes are a different color than the 3 I currently have...

So I am questioning it...let me know what you think...sorry about the hazy pictures, camera is almost out of batteries and I wont have any until tomorrow...

Looks like a peacock to me. Based off of the curved forehead, I'm going to guess maleri

I was able to grab a few more before the batteries shut down...still crappy...more tomorrow if needed

Is this the fish? If so I am digging that...could this be any issue with the other peacocks I have?

If thats right and they are okay with my other peacocks the lfs had a few of them, maybe I will go grab 1 more, they are pretty cool. I was hopping for a female honestly, but maybe I will just bring the female in for a trade on another male and I will have all males...

Based off the little color I see on him, right fish but wrong CP. I say its the Chipoka varient more yellow than orange.

The first picture is what you are referring to? I would say at this point it looks more like the last pic which is a female...we shall see...

Is there any issue in mixing different kinds of peacocks?

Only that they will interbreed like crazy if you have females

Yes there are many problems mixing peacocks. All females from different species look alike and it is almost impossible to differentiate them. Plus male peacocks will easily hybridize with female peacocks of different species.
