Lookin' back, you're right. I've seen juvie monos with red eyes but I guess that's not as common as ocells having red eyes. I remembered James, I think, ID'ing similiar fish as ocells from Guiana. I found the pix and they look very much like yours so my new ID is 75% sure they're Ocells.

In any case, they're lookin' good! Are they big enough that an eggcrate would work as a divider? They're lookin' mighty cramped in that box and their growth seems like it's slowing as well.

they havent really slowed down in growth.
itll be at least an inch more til they cant fit through an eggcrate.
