you can put screen from home depot around the eggcrate. I think a 4x2 eggcrate is like $11 from home depot. just wrap the screen around the eggcrate and throw a rubber band across the sides at top and bottom. I used the eggcrate for my pond filter, just be careful cutting it with snips, the little fragments like to go flying off between each little square which will leave gaps. they also sell clear plastic for drop ceilings which are 2x4 sheets. You would just have to drill your own holes, keeping it in place is the only problem unless you have sleeves for the sides and some type of clamp to keep it from slipping allowing larger fish to get in. Good luck !

Or do what I did before and use two eggcrates and combine them. Cut one egg crate a square shorter top and bottom and it should line up with the other egg crate so that the hole are divided up. Then I used zip ties to secure them together and hold them in place. You could also slide the screen jimmie was talking about between the two egg crates.

Sorry for the derail!

so have i.
ive also seen two spot orino and two spot monos.

Yeah.. i love 2 spot orinos
I use to have a 2 spot mono a while back he was nice.
im sure what ever you got there will turn into something nice :D

So I was thinkin, you won't have to cut off 1 row AND 1 column. You get the idea of stacking two egg crates so I won't derail anymore.

I have a 2 spot ocell along with some other columbian ocells. The 2 spot will probably be the only ocell I actually keep.

cool stuff.
post some pics.

yeah i think either mono or ocell. i would think an orino at this size would start to show tiny gold specks at each corner of the spots, or am i wrong?
