that JD stays with me.......but i allow viewings from 1pm to 5pm for 5 bucks a person You probably got a hybrid coming from a mixed tank, but by looks I won't guess anykinda zebra, I would guess Psuedotropheus Acei. And the yellow spots on the anal fin are egg spots, supposed to be dumby eggs to trick female... she tries to pick up his dumby eggs while he drops a load of sperm in her to fertilize the eggs in her mouth.
Probably not a great idea to keep africans with new world cichlids either... but that is a nice looking jack
thanks for all the info man.....yeah he was beating up on every fish i had even killed one of my texas. so i put him in solitary confinement for a good 3 months and fed him once every 3 days goldfish flakes thats it. making the JD who was smaller much bigger cause i was feeding him everyday good stuff too. threw my african in then he tried to flash my JD and got grounded and pounded. so now he is a good little school boy in the tank.
one of my lfs has a couple tanks of "mixed" and it has like 4 or 5 of those same fish looks identicle
Yeah your probably right Pharoah, I went home and looked at my acei and he looks a lot different than the one in the picture. He's probably a hybrid and his parents were probably hybrids so who knows what it could be???
