(ST) widebars are not extinct, they just don't import them anymore.

They are extinct, 100%. I went to find out about the breeding programs here in thailand. I spoke to staff at the Faculty of Fisheries, Kasetsat University. They phoned the resarch facility at Bungporapetch to ask them a few questions for me. One of the questions was regarding wild numbers, they told me 100% extinct for over 5 years. You can't find them here anymore.

How can you tell the difference between ST, IT, NTT? I saw the chart and they all look the same.....

Well you can't find small ST so that's easy enough, and if you find one for sale it's going to cost so most of the time the price will tell you.
As for IT, they can have any where between 3 or 4 bars usually and can have misbar, broken bar or odd shaped bars. Their bars aren't as wide as the ST's bars.
NTT are thin bars, they usually have 3 bars and the bars are very thin and usually narrower than their eye.
It takes a while to notice the differences between them but just stick with it and get the hang of it soon enough.
