ID my Discus and how much it's worth.

Hey all I never actually knew what type of discus I have but here he/she is.
I just want an ID on it and how much it's worth. BTW the discus is around 5" tall and around 4"-4.5" long.

looks like a nice little blue turquoise discus. different breeders might call them different things. maybe around $25-35

NOOO you have a pretty decent looking fish there, and its def not that cheap, for that size, probably around +-75 bucks

There's a big difference between what you would pay for it at a store and what you could get for it selling it. It would probably go for $75-$90 in most pet stores. But selling it yourself or at an auction you might get between $25-$50 tops. It's a nice fish, but they are fairly common. Just as an example I bought a 5+ inch ocean green female discus at an auction a few weeks ago for $24.

That one came forn the Atlanta aquarium association spring auction. Actual live auction with fish bagged up on the auctioning block.

Never seen a discus at 25 cents price. Some do fetch higher than $25. Breeders sell them at very high rates.
