ID my Discus and how much it's worth.

here in dfw that discus would go for 50-125. selling it here 40-75 dollars.
just remember prices are going to vary, and the person buying it will set the price.
if you say $100.00 for it and some one wants it bad enough. they might pay $100.00

You're right. The fish in the first pic does look to have scarring from hole in the head.
 
Ok, I am 100% positive what you have is either a Turquoise or a Snakeskin, but the striations are mid sized on your fish, which makes it harder to tell : http://www.discusnada.org/discus/classification.html Here is a site that has alot of different varieties etc.

I don't know what the discus are priced in the WI area, but in LA, they go for 45$ to well over a hundred. Turquoise would be about 80$, and the Snakeskin around the same, maybe a little more.

But I am now sure what you have is Turquoise. Sell it yourself, you'll get alot more for it! That or breed it, and sell the young to your LFS for credit/money, or just sell them ^.- Great looking fish you have there, good job! At that size they get pricey :)
 
Though you guys are right, if you look close, it looks like it may have Hole in Head, or is recovering from it. Make sure your fishy is healthy before selling!
 
That is a Brilliant Turquoise. I have 5 of them and they look the same as that one. As an example You can get a Stendker 5" Brilliant turq for 90 bucks not shipped.
