ID my natives please

native lover lol, they look absolutely nothing like a texas cichlid

ya they do. they look like the babies in petsmart....or they where labeled wrong last time i was in....never kept one but the markins are almost the same except they had red and blue.


ok...forget i even mentioned the texas thing.

native - sorry man I think they look nothing alike Well only as alike as any 2 cichlids.

Different body shape, different colour, different fins, the texas has speckles all over it etc

I saw a huge group of tilapia yesterday at the san diego zoo, they were in the hippo tank. There must have been over 300 in there. Ill try to upload pics later if you guys want to see them.

Well i got one good pic...

i took some of the babies, they looked exactly like my tilapia, but they are pretty blurry. maybe i can find a good one, ill check later.

I did color correction and it looks much better...

HLLE = Head and lateral line erosion (hole in the head)
