Looks like the male is a little too young for breeding. I saw some juvies being proud parents, but usually they become mature at around 8+".

If the KKP is that fish next to him(kinda looks like a midas to me), she's way too big for him.

I'd say take out that other fish, keep him alone and keep pumping him up until 8+" so you can see his max potential then worry about breeding later.
