Sure looks like one to me. I used to have a breeding pair of these little geckos. They are master escape artists! Beware.

Lucky you. I have loads of those critters in my pateo and never manage to catch one. Even yesterday I almost had one and miserably let it escape...
Viciousfish, is there a way of trapping those guys?

Maybe set a trap with like meal worms or something?

I used to trap gex in the Canary Islands. I would just put some bread under a net, with the net just in the air, then when they came to eat the bread knock the net so they were stuck underneath. I caught around 20 or so in one day, releasing them straight after.

Dead on ID. Mediteranean Geckos. I have these guys on my balcony. I usually turn the light on for them at night so they can catch the bugs that come by. Cool little things to watch. I found some eggs once and hatched them out. They're so cute as babies.

I have the pateo full of them..

I'm sure there are ways to catch them Miguel, but I don't live anywhere near warm enough to have them outside. So I've never tried. You could leave a piece of plywood or something else flat against your house where you see them. They might take shelter behind this during the day and you could pull back the wood and if one is there, put a net over it. But I'm sure you know how quick they are so it won't be easy! It probably would help if there are two people; 1 to pull back the board, the other has the net. Good luck!

Eh... when I think of House Geckos... I think of the pet trade species Hemidactylus frenatus. They sure do look like Mediterranean House Geckos (Hemidactylus turcicus) though. However you are right though... there are litterly hundreds that have common names that contain "House Gecko."
