Also I wouldn't go around say they are rio negro cause u might make others on here made. I have no idea for sure if mine is a rio negro. It was brought in as that and I purchased it from borchbuild when it was only like 3". I still no idea the true location point of this guy but all I can say is that it does look a bit different then most rio metas I've seen and Ive only seen hand full of pics of rio negros youngsters/juvis and still hard to say for sure. Either way I love it's color and patterns!!'

No matter what, it will be impossible to give them a definite location. Like gangster has said, you will not be able to know its true location without getting that bass from a reputable source or catching it yourself from that river lol. Orinos are orinos. They will all look very similar and share the same characteristics and differ at the same time. You can't just look at pics and ID them. I think you should just be happy with your awesome orinos and besides, people will pay a pretty penny for quality fish no matter what they're from. Your orinos are looking good!

To me, it doesn't matter the river that they came from, it matters what part of South America it is collected from. IE, Brazil, Venezuela and Colombia. Three bass, same species, different variants.
I have owned a Ven and a Colombia before. Now, lets bring on the true rio negros.
