Its about 4.5"
It is also a psychopath, its in a 800 litre tank with 2 oscars and a silver arrow and this thing chases everyone.
Oscars are about 12" and the arrow is 18"

Looks like possibly a convict x cutteri hybrid. Hard to say for sure without better pics and some more information though.

I could definatly see that as a possiblity.

Look hybrid

Covict mixed with some sort of Amphilophus
Covict mixed with another species within the genus

I think its deffo a hybrid, but of what thats the issue.

It looks like a convict and it has a serious attitude problem, but cant think of the other fish

I still see convictxfiremouth. You all have to factor in when tossing these more exotic fish and cryptotheros that this fish was handed in to a lfs. (If i understood correctly) the odds that the person who owned it had a harder to find (not the average hobbyist kept species) and then crossed the two is a little less likely than two commonly found species.

It was handed in to a LFS yeah, and they just gave it to me to look after as they knew I had the room.

I have no interest in keeping it so if anyone in the UK wants it then its yours
