Thanks all.... you guys think I should go for this guy??? i kinda liked the size... have never seen tilapia b4... i have a 195 with Oscars, Pacu and Giant Gaurami... would he fit in there?...

No worries on the diet part i could treat him well only if i know he can be housed in the tank mentioned above... he is being kept in cheap dried prawns bits diet...

what you guys thinks....?

I appreciate your concern... they are still juvies, and im pretty sure they are ok with the tank size for now... they are all to be shifted to the pond im goin to build... so lets leave the tank size aside as im well aware of this....

If given a choice, you may try keeping cichlids instead of tilapia.

I have a tank of SA/CA as well... was just feeling pity for these guys as they are kept in really horrible conditions... i have given it a pass though... but will make arrangements for it be housed in good and safe hands...
