ID of these ATF please

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Good, healthy body and jaw form is all that matters. Color develops as they get larger, and their fins heal like Wolverine. Some of the nicest fins I've ever seen on an ATF have come from a fish that came to me with nearly no fins.

Haha, just wondering does most vittatus have red color on both upper and lower caudal fin?

Today i went to lfs and they have new batch of gatf, given a choice, which will you pick? The small or the big?

Tempted to pick the bigger one as it already start showing color, but im afraid that bigger means more dominance thus more aggression. Does this make sense?

Thanks a bunch once again~

Dominance and aggression is a fact of life with these fish. In nearly every case of people attempting to keep multiple ATF in communities, it has ended in heartbreak. These fish are vicious predators and territorial to boot. There's no way to know if an individual fish will hate its congeners or not.
