id on bass i just caught

How many types of LMB are there?! I thought one! I know so little about natives that it hurts.

Well there are two types of LMB, but there are MANY species of black bass (which the LMB is categorized as.)

seems to me its a stressed out largemouth.. the mouth is larger than a spotted bass mouth

he was very stressed when i took this pic, just caught him and put him in the tank. but now its been a few weeks, he is eating great and looks not stressed at all, ill have to post more pics

what angles should i try and get for you guys?

You need to get a good head shot,if the mouth is past the eye its a LMB if not then its a spotted.

Deffinitely LMB...

Spotted bass are not as deep bodied as LMB's unless they live in a river system and this is only true for fish of about a pound or more.
