you will have to separeate them eventually. That jar will own him in no time!! Jars usually cant be kept with anything else especially when they reach the 9" mark. If he's eating shrimp and pellets, then good for you!

Yeah Thats waht i heard once they hit 8-10 inches they got crazy/physcho but once i get a bigger tank i'm gonna put the jar in the big tank and put the gar in the current tank

i love these fish
my main tank is dedicated to them
u might as well call me the cuda man
mine are the same size
i plan on getting a huge school of them once my paycheck rolls in
mine eat guppies and good luck getting em to eat anything else
id advise you to get a feeder tank because its alot more helpfull
theyre closeley related to gars
eat almost like em too
you should get some red tail cudas
theyre further away from gars more like real cudas
theyre more money too

Don't those two sentences contradict one another?? I had two of them that were fine eating pellets. I wouldnt have had to feed them any feeders if I didn't want to. Anyway, we already stated what these fish are. They are not yellowtail cudas. They are in the characin family.

They aren't yellow tail cudas. They are Hujeta Characins. Yellow tail cudas look totally different.
