ID on Lungfish/ I GOT A LUNGFISH

lol. Well I see I forgot to put the "west" in front of african lungfish. That wound doesnt look real bad. I'd make sure you have the proper dose of aquarium salt in the tank. 1 tablespoon per 5 gallons. Your temp seems right. He should be fine. As far as activity level. My little guy spends about 80% of his time sitting around the bottom of the tank. In and out of the logs. He gets really active during feeding time, and on occasion thru out the day. For the most part my lungs are fairly docile.
 
Thanks allot man really puts some worries to rest, I dont have enough salt in there due to a run out, but i'll buy more tomorrow
 
I also forgot to mention that I personally prefer to add my salt to the filter instead of directly into the tank. That way it gets dissolved before it hits the tank. I know that the salt crystals can be harmful to some fish if they came in direct contact with the crystals. My Tiger cats get little burn marks if they touch a bare crystal.
