Welcome to the MFK! Pleased to have you here.

The ID appears just as the guys say: hi fin / emperor / paroon shark catfish aka Pangasius sanitwongsei, the symbol fish of Thailand that can rival Mekong Giant Catfish in size.

You have stepped off at the deep end. No, not just deep. It's an abysmal end. I don't use the "h" word but can't help but admire how Dan summarized the gist of my exact feelings is so few words.

Here is our trio of 3.5 footers in 4500 gal which is too small for them (skip the first 7 min):

Thanks, I am subscriber to your youtube channel. The fish I have bought seems to have ick it is only noticeable if light is shined on the fish as there a few white spots on its body very hard to see in daylight, I'm gonna keep my eye on it and have ordered some medicine.

I appreciate your sub. Thank you. I hope it's worth it to you but wouldn't be surprised if it is not because I don't have the time to invest into shooting better, more entertaining, and more informative videos.

It's not uncommon for recently shipped and rehomed fish to break out a minor ich infestation. It will go away on its own in 99% cases without any meds or any special effort but if and only if there are no other causes of stress to the fish - from uncycled water, bad tank mates, wrong water type, not enough aeration, too much light, wrong or unstable temp, unstable or wrong pH, etc. If all the T's are crossed, the ich should go away on its own soon.
