A good method to get some of the bottom dwellers is to place your net behind the rock they are near/under, and then lift the rock, and pick up your net. Fish often shoot downstream when they are disturbed, and go right into your net! GL!

Man, my LFS had rainbow shiners in this week. They look amazing! If I had an appropriate tank for them I would have taken all of them without hesitation.
