The problem with sax types and positive ID's ... well yeah, I think I rather gouge an eye out. Looks to be a male in the lucius/proteus subgroup to my eye, probably lucius ... collection location could help.

hmm yea see we know nothing about him my brother got him with a 60g tank he bought in long beach the guy just said it was a pike. My brother gave him to us because he was picking on/eating every one in the tank. Your guess is as good as mine I dont know a thing about him. We have him on carnivore sticks with occasional feeders. Hes eaten brine shrimp before but usually he eats the sticks. Or you know... any cichlid that happens to pass by his mouth!!!! grrr!
