ID Peacock bass....

I don't have an ID BUT I do have an observation. The first fish you posted has the tail patterns you'd normally see in a long bodied cichla like a pinima, azul, temensis, while your guy's tail looks more like a short bodied cichla. Maybe it's just the lighting but its something I noticed.

AH, Good observation ado124. Let's see if I can't find another photo. Not my cichla. I'm really stumped on this one. Never seen a mostly red cichla. This was from rapps ocell about a year and a half a go.
