ID Please, Convict??

Thanks to all for the help. I currently have this JD in a 56 gal tank with 5 young African Cichlids, the largest being about 3 inches and a spotted Raph. It is the only tank I have and I had to put him somewhere until I can take him back. He seems to be doing OK. I actually like him better than the others. I regret I went with Africans, we decided to try something different since we had an Oscar, JD and a 14" Pleco years ago. I think it was a mistake.

Africans can be realy nice fish to keep if u give them a chance. Theres tons of options open. look into the types of africans , trust me you'll find some fish that u think are amazing and must have.

It's a JD and I wouldn't mix it with anything, but I had a bad experience with one so I'm biased.
