What do you mean?

never mind, got the english common names mixed up, not used to them ;)

I agree with everything you said!

dude, these cats are soldiers! i've had mine for like 2 and a half years not knowing what he was. i had this guy sitting for like 6 months in a tank that was only 1/4th full in the garage because i assumed my large mouth ate him because he was never to be seen when i moved my bass to a bigger tank. decided to use the old tank as a feeder tank and when i cleaned it out he was in there and like 2 inches bigger.

still got the little warrior lol (:

Hope this helps

Platydoras costatus
Platydoras costatus is a species of catfish of the genus Platydoras. Although long thought to be the striped raphael catfish, this is not the case; the striped raphael catfish is actually Platydoras armatulus.

Platydoras Armatulus (Talking Raphael or Chocolate Catfish)
Striped Raphael catfish, Platydoras armatulus, is a catfish of the family Doradidae. It may also be called talking catfish, chocolate doradid, chocolate catfish or thorny catfish.
this species has been misidentified as Platydoras costatus for decades, only in late 2008 was it recognised as P. armatulus. Orinocodoras eigenmanni can sometimes be offered for sale labeled as a Striped Raphael Cat or suchlike. This contaminant is most easily distinguished by its longer, more elongate snout and longer adipose fin. The contrasting white stripes on Platydoras armatulus are also considerably brighter, particularly on youngsters.

I'd was going to say Platydoras armatulus, not P.costatus BUT looking again, it could well be the latter.
The cream stripe on P. costatus is much less defined and the fish is very rare in the aquarium trade. As you may know, for years, the striped raphael has been identified as P.costatus, until recently when it was re-identified as P. armatulus.
