Personally I think it's Florida gar (washed out). I don't think anyone is breeding Shortnose Gars outside of the US (maybe not even in the US atm). People don't realize how rare legit Shortnose Gars are in the aquarium trade. They are often mislabled, same with Spotted gars. I don't think any country outside of US have shortnose gars except Japan and Canada. But then again who knows.

Ok. That makes sense...My friend #2 (different guy) sent me this photo of Floridas....and with such poor quality photo from Friend in India, it "could" be a Florida when compared to this photo and few spots, but a line...

Juvenile Florida gars have that line, eventually breaks up into spots. Quite common with most juvenile gars.
