I originally thought parrot, until I came across the short bodied Texas. Now I'm not sure.

obviously doesnt know what a flowerhorn is lol guess what buddy my lfs sells retics labeled as motoros.....moral of the story, some lfs dont know what they have and only care about the money they make.
 
Strange looking fish, no matter what hybrid it is. Definitely some Dempsey in there though.

I find it strange that everybody is talking about flowerhorns as if they are a specific species and all look a certain way. Flowerhorns can look like any number of SA/CA cichlids. ALL flowerhorns are hybrids of two or more species. Therefore, you can have flowerhorns that look like any number of cichlids.

duncan33: Get a grip man! Not everybody is just going to take your word for it and quit discussing the possibilities.
