ID please! Maybe a Dovi/Cuban

The guy i got it from said that it was a cross between a dovi and cuban, but im not sure that he knew what he was talking about, but he is very aggressive. Killed a female Jag and a female mag. Any suggestions to what else i could put to breed with him?

I know its not a pure dovi
 
I'm not sure. It's an interesting looking fish with the body shape of a Dovii but the spots seem different. Can you get a close up side shot of him?

first shot looks like a dovii X umbee

second shot looks like a dovii X RTM


(i know there the same fish lol but better pics are needed)
 
yea they were taking with my cell phone, i tried to net him and pull him out and take a close up, but he didnt seem to like that idea so i let him back out.
 
dovii and something can you get a closer side shot?

Did the guy you got him from breed him? Or did he buy him?
 
he said he bought it, and then he gave me it and a female jag and they spawned before i went on vacation and when i came back the female was dead and all the babies were gone, but he didnt breed it
