ID please! Maybe a Dovi/Cuban

it's either a really nice dovii, or else hybrid with something other parachromis.
definatly not cuban though, i'd give him his own tank if he's already murdered some fish.
 
hes in a 75g by himself with some feeders and he wont touch them but if i put another fish in there he murders them
 
What ever that is a hybrid between a dovii its one sweet looking Cichlid! I would love to have one of these

Why not definitely a cuban?!... Are they genetically incapable of breeding?
The reason I ask is, I find the spanglings on the face and gills more like a cuban's rather than like a carpintis or a jag's.
Also cuban's being quite nasty themselves, the resulting fry between a dovii and a cuban would be as mean as the OP claims.

I hope someone would clarify me on this. But nonetheless the fish looks awesome! Some more pics wouldn't do any harm! :D
 
haha put a bunch of guppies in there and see if he touches those :D.....
btw i have no clue what else is in there but its FREAKING AWESOME...
 
Its nice what ever it is. I think its a dovii mixed with JD or Umbie.
