yeah id like to know the visual difference as well maybe i havent seen enough of ocel yet to depict them myself?

oscell have red eyes, and there colors arnt as stunning as monos imho.

Check the pbass sticky they have some nice pics of the diff varieties.

according to another guys thread and pics of his larger ocel, from what i see, my little guys' patterns were so similar. white dots on the back end of the dorsal fins, 3 main bars with black specs slightly along a line through their sides. Only diff was his ocel had 2 dots on the tail compared to mine only had one dot each tail

You're right, mine didn't have read eyes, but I thought maybe that was because they were still babies/juvies. In the pics above they were at about 7"

My baby oscells ( 1-2" ) already had developed the red eyes. but they wern't constant. When I get home I will try and post some pics for you ( at school )

the sticky didn't help much because they'd either have pics of babies or adults,........... and mine at 7" looks like monos and also like ocels,...........
