I am also disappointed they are not intermedia but look on the bright side they could be some pretty good looking orinos!

yeah i had a feeling. but you can never go wrong with some nice orinos. the orinoco is a MASSIVE river system, spanning more than one country. they all look different, even in the same area. orinos are totally off the wall when it comes to pattern and color. it's a waste of time trying to guess what theyll look like

No these guys weren't $175 and aren't C. orinocensis "Rio Meta". Though Rio Meta is in the Orinoco drainage these came far from it actually closer to the Venezuelan border. I'm still on the fence about the ones from Monsterays. It's kind of a wait and see thing with baby Cichla anyway.

Im sure they will turn out to be intermedia bro.. These came from a very high rep supplier. Shark aquarium also brought some in now so whats that saying.

Actually hennry they came from River wonders!! They had brought them in before .Issac got 100 fry in but they where all dieing. I went ahead and took a chance on a couple of fry that still looked pretty healthy.But let me be clear on this i took the chance because he was told they were Intermedia And believed it so!!!!I also got a really resonable price on them so TO ME IT WAS WORTH IT TO TAKE THE CHANCE.Easy come Easy go In the fish game no need for anybody to gloat or on the other hand get upset!!!!I will someday get and own some Intermedia you can count on it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Oh and by the way hennry YOU WERE WRONG ALSO!!!!YOU SAID THEY WERE TEMENSIS REMEMBER
