Species of jewel. Kool fish. West african.

hmmm, what about the eye band? side markings look different.

Looks similar to grammodes but I dont think it is.

it's about 5'' long now and the guy who's keeping it has it in a 5 gal
so i want to know what it is so i can tell him how to keep it

i sort of agree about the hemichromis fasciatus but at the sametime the banding looks different and the face looks like a parachromis

I agree. Not Central or South American, and not Hemichromis.
