I've seen young motoros come out that bland at first, then the spots get more defined. With that said, I'd guess Otorongo at this point.

I'm concerned about the health of the large ray in that pic. Is it as skinny as it looks? Is there room for it to move around? Living and living well are two different things. I'm shocked that coral sand allows such a low pH.

the big ray is fat and healthy. appearance with the sand is a bit deceiving. It doesn't have wound either. tank is 8x2x2 and it still have swiming room at the moment with the ornament in the middle (most like keeping it bare once the rays get bigger).

The questionable ray now has a darker color since i got it.

2ft wide tank is to small and you have taken up most of the space with that thing in the middle

its fake we can see that but still shape and i bet you paid a lot for it to

in the first pic the big ray looks skinny looking at the ridges on top. i saw a similar ray like the one your asking about and was told it was a small spot motoro if it helps at all .

might have to get rid of the center piece them. thanks for the input guys.

sad to say i lost the ray in question. I went home (day 5) and she was folded up. she was eating well the last days and don't know what happened, all my fish and other rays are doing well. i feel frustrated as i spend twice the price i paid for a normal motoro for this fella.

i know its to late but i have seen this kind of ray called a peru motoro
