Please give me a species name on his guy.

Also, can anyone sex him? If you enlarge the pic you can see a pointed breeding tube I think- although he's always had it hanging out there.

Looks like a cyanoguttatus but also looks like a carpintis my guess is that its either a hybrid or some other strain of texas.As for sex I'm thinking male my texas is the same and hes only 3.5 inches but i can see the tube sticking out.

Looks like an attempt at a red texas. Tex/rd or something along those lines. It's a hybrid, but there's no way you'll ever find out exactly what it is.
