Hard to get a good shot of this one. Only 2.5"

Looks like a male dwarf, either regani or colombian wallacii ... don't see the seperation of the first few dorsal rays that would mean noto.

I'd lean toward regani too, with the stronger colors and thickness. My regani I've bought as other species, the dwarves around here run $15.99-17.99 usually.

Hopefully you ended up gettin it. Dwarfs are finally starting to make their way back into the hobby with more regularity!! Its about freaking time as well! Been a long time waiting for them! :)

Yeah I picked it up. There's another dwarf for $30, didn't get the name. Owner told me not alot of people know about them so they can't justify spending that amount for "such a small fish." When I went back I told him that it was a regani. He said when they got the shipment in it was so small that IDin was difficult. The fish had been sitting on display for about a month.

Yeah, sometimes I think I'm the only reason my fav LFS brings in dwarf pikes!! *lol* I've gotten all 3 species from him (regani, noto, wallacii).
