Yea it looks alot like my firstt fish which was a gold gourami.

blue gourami [but gold color, it's the same thing]
quite aggressive, i had to and had to give them away

Yea I had the same thing happen he was ripping up my angelfish. Those were my 2 first fish. Blue Gourami and Angelfish. In a 3 gallon. And now I have a 90 a 55 a 29 and a 10. Wow haha.

The one facing upwards almost looks like a Giant Gourami. The other is a gold or a gold opaline for sure. Kind of an interesting fish can be aggressive with their own kind an others on scale a little less than the big cichlids.

The gold is a opaline, not a gourami? Well...... but half of the posts say its a golden gourami. :nilly:

Hey thanks for the advise Lupin! :)

I got another tank yesterday for the 4 gouramis and got a pair of scats and monos as well! :D

The gouramis are doing well with the scats and monos. I'll get pic if you want.

How big is the tank? Monos and scats are brackish to salt water species. They will not do well with the gouramis in the long run.

Hate to tell you this...BUT the Monos and Scats are brackish water while the Gouramis are freshwater. I think the Gouramis and Goldfish will be fine together temperature wise as long as the you keep it around 75. I find that fancier goldfish does well at this temperature. BUT (again) the Gouramis are pretty aggressive and may tear up the Goldfish a bit.
